How to view the HTML version of the User's Manual

This user's manual is available as a PDF file on the Seagate Utility CD that was included with your purchase. However the latest information about Toolkit will always be available in HTML format along with every new version of Toolkit released.

You can view the HTML version of this manual  using your normal web browser. When you installed the Seagate Toolkit software, the HTML files were copied to the same directory as the toolkit.exe application. It was also copied to the public partition on your Pocket Hard Drive.

To view the HTML version of the User's Manual:

  1. Click on the Help button on the main menu. See Figure 8.
  2. Click on the User's Manual button. The HTML version of the User's Manual will be launched using your default web browser.

Note. If you have moved or deleted the HTML files, you will be asked to insert the Seagate Utility CD.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


How to view more information about the Seagate Toolkit software

The Seagate Toolkit software is updated as needed to provide you with the latest features available for your Pocket Hard Drive. Click on this button to read important information about updates to this application. Updated versions of this software are available for download from http://www.seagate.com/support/st1/

To view additional information about the Seagate Toolkit software:

  1. Click on the Help button on the main menu. See Figure 8.
  2. Click on the Toolkit Updates button. A window will be displayed with information about how you can download the latest version of this software.

 

 

How to access the Seagate Support Website online
(you must be connected to the internet to use this option)

Seagate maintains a support website to answer your questions about this and other Seagate products.

To access the Seagate Support Website:

  1. Click on the Help button on the main menu. See Figure 8.
  2. Click on the Seagate Support Website button. The Seagate web site will be launched and displayed using your default web browser. To access the support location dedicated to supporting this particular drive, enter the following address in your browser: http://www.seagate.com/support/st1/
