Retrospect Express Upgrade for Maxtor OneTouch

This software contains Retrospect Express HD for use with original Maxtor OneTouch drives. This program will only work on compatible Windows operating systems. This file will install the English language version of the upgrade.

Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed the Maxtor OneTouch Settings Update prior to installing this upgrade.

 

Please ensure that your system meets the minimum system requirements before upgrading to Dantz Retrospect Express HD. These are the same requirements specified for the Maxtor OneTouch II. Please refer to Seagate Knowledge Base Article 186431 for system requirement information.

 

This Dantz Retrospect Express software upgrade is available to only Maxtor OneTouch customers. Download of the upgrade will require entry of the license code provided with the originally installed Retrospect Express software and acceptance of the terms of the Dantz Software License Agreement.

Instructions

  • Step 1

    Power down and disconnect your OneTouch drive(s) from your Windows computer.

  • Step 2

    Download and extract the file OT_EN_Upgrade.exe to your Windows desktop.

  • Step 3

    Once extracted, browse to the English folder.

  • Step 4

    From within the English folder, double-click on Setup to launch the installation program.

  • Step 5

    Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation.


    NOTE: Reference Seagate Knowledge Base Article 189291 for detailed installation procedures.

  • Step 6

    When finished, restart your computer for changes to take effect.
