To repair this capacity limitation you will need to follow the operating system instructions below and one of the hardware options:

Operating system options

Update the operating system to support 48-bit LBA. Choose your operating system from the list below.

• Windows Vista
• Windows XP
• Windows 2000
• Windows Me
• Windows 98
• Windows 95 / DOS There is no 137 GB support through standard options.
• MacOS X

Hardware Options

• Confirm your motherboard BIOS supports 48-bit LBA addressing (drives larger than 137 GB). A BIOS upgrade may be required.
• Purchase a 3rd party controller card.
