SeaTools for DOS

Did you know that if you return a healthy hard drive for repair you give up all your data? That's priceless information that can never be retrieved. Avoid that problem by downloading SeaTools today.

SeaTools saves time, data and money by keeping hard drives healthy in your system. Fact: more than 40 per cent of returned drives are found to be healthy.

"Since using SeaTools, we've seen a 20 percent improvement in our RMA rate. If all our customers used SeaTools, the reduction in cost to them would be $365,000."
– Mike Machin, Director of Engineering Bell Micro Latin America

SeaTools for DOS has replaced SeaTools Desktop
SeaTools for DOS can test a Parallel ATA (PATA and IDE) or a Serial ATA (SATA) interface disc drive.  Because the software boots to its own operating system you can test your drive regardless of the OS installed on it.  You can even test a new or completely blank drive.  SeaTools for DOS will instruct the drive to run its built in Drive Self Test (DST) and give either a pass or fail status.  If you are troubleshooting your disc drive and the DST passes, then you have a good drive!

System Requirements for Running SeaTools for DOS
