DUBAI, United Arab Emirates - October 14, 2009 - Seagate (NASDAQ:STX), the world leader in hard drives and storage solutions, will showcase its new FreeAgent® retail products, its BlackArmor® family of external storage solutions for small and medium sized businesses, and its Barracuda® XT drive, the world’s fastest desktop hard drive, at GITEX 2009, 18-22 October, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Seagate will exhibit in the Sheikh Saeed Hall, at stand number NH-Q10, and will be represented at GITEX by nine members of its team who represent the company in the Middle East.

Seagate will also be represented at the GITEX Shopper & Consumer Electronics Expo, Stand CE2-1, Airport Expo Dubai, 17-24 October.

• FreeAgent DockStar™ network adapter, an amazingly simple way to access and share your digital content with anyone from anywhere.

• BlackArmor ® NAS 440 storage server, the BlackArmor ® NAS 220 storage server, the BlackArmor ® WS 110 external drive workstation and the BlackArmor ® PS 110 portable drive. These solutions share the same suite of robust backup applications tailored for medium and small businesses, and for home office use.

• Barracuda® XT drive, a 7200RPM product featuring 2TB of storage capacity and a blazing fast SATA 6Gb/second interface which meets the capacity demands of gaming, digital video-environments and other storage-hungry desktop computing applications while delivering the highest performance in its class. Its introduction marks the shift to the next generation of desktop computing speed as Seagate doubles the storage bandwidth of current computers.
