Stephen J. Luczo

Stephen J. Luczo - Chairman, President and CEO

Mr Luczo serves as the Chairman of the Board, CEO and President. Mr Luczo joined us in October 1993 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. In September 1997, Mr Luczo was promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of our predecessor, Seagate Technology, Inc. and, in July 1998, he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Mr Luczo resigned as our Chief Executive Officer, effective 3 July, 2004, but retained his position as Chairman of the Board. In January 2009, Mr Luczo was appointed President and CEO. Prior to joining us, Mr Luczo was Senior Managing Director of the Global Technology Group of Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., an investment banking firm, from February 1992 to October 1993.

   
Bob Whitmore

Bob Whitmore - Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Mr Whitmore serves as Executive Vice President and CTO for Seagate. He is responsible for product design and development, head and media component design and manufacturing operations, global hard disc drive manufacturing operations, global materials and corporate quality. In addition, Mr Whitmore is responsible for Seagate's solid state drive (SSD) development.

   
Patrick O'Malley

Patrick O'Malley - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr O'Malley assumed the role of EVP and CFO effective 25 August, 2008. In his previous role as SVP Finance and Treasurer, he was responsible for corporate accounting, reporting, treasury, credit and collections and risk management along with corporate financial planning and analysis and support for our business unit GMs, sales and other functions. In October 2005, he returned to finance from the sales organisation, where he coordinated the Company's activities surrounding the consumer electronics market as SVP for Consumer Electronics Business Development from January 2004.

Mr O'Malley joined Seagate in 1988 and has held various management roles within the finance organisation, including Manager of Consolidation and Cost Accounting, Director of Finance - Corporate FP&A, Sr Director of Finance for Oklahoma City Operations, Sr Director of Finance for Desktop Design, VP of Finance for Recording Media Operations and SVP of Finance for Manufacturing Operations. Prior to joining Seagate, he spent four years as a Sr Staff Accountant for Arthur Young & Co.

Mr O'Malley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame (class of 1984).

   
Dave Mosley

Dave Mosley - Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Product Line Management

Mr Mosley is responsible for Seagate's global sales, marketing and product line management teams. He leads the cross-functional teams that manage customer relationships and ensure market-leading products for those customers.

Since joining Seagate in 1996 as a manager of manufacturing operations, Mr Mosley has held a variety of posts, including: Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing Operations, Senior Director for R&D Engineering, Vice President and Site Management Team Leader for the company's Longmont, Colorado, operation, and Emerging Products Development Team Leader.

Prior to joining Seagate, Mr Mosley held technical positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Micropolis and Conner Peripherals.

   
Terry Cunningham

Terry Cunningham - Senior Vice President, Branded Solutions Division and i365

Mr Cunningham is Senior Vice President of the Branded Solutions Division and i365, the company's services organisation. Branded Solutions brings to market retail storage solutions under the Seagate brand. The Seagate company, i365, provides business solutions for the protection, retention and discovery of electronic information. Mr Cunningham previously served as President and COO of Veritas Software, founded two other successful storage management software companies, and founded and led Seagate Software.

   
Ken Massaroni

Ken Massaroni - General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Mr Massaroni is responsible for all of Seagate’s corporate legal activities, including intellectual property, patents, trademarks and copyrights, litigation, risk management, contracts, employment law, corporate governance and ethics. In addition, he oversees Seagate’s facilities and security departments.

Prior to joining Seagate in 2006, Mr Massaroni was Vice President of Law, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary at Scientific-Atlanta from 1997 to 2006. In addition, Mr Massaroni has also held Senior Patent Counsel positions at Motorola from 1993 to 1997, served as General Counsel and Secretary at Optical Imaging Systems from 1990 to 1992 and as a patent attorney at Energy Conversion Devices from 1987 to 1990. In addition, he served as an associate at the law firm of Collier, Shannon, Rill and Scott.

Mr Massaroni received a Bachelor’s degree from Butler University in Indiana and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University.

   

Karen Hanlon

Karen Hanlon – Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Ms Hanlon is responsible for leading Seagate’s global human resources efforts, including: compensation and benefits, leadership and learning, staffing and on-boarding, global HR central transaction centres, global HR compliance, global HR business partners and HR Business Excellence/Six Sigma. Ms Hanlon joined Seagate in 1990 and has served in a variety of HR leadership positions based both in the US and Asia.

Ms Hanlon has held leadership positions at Read-Rite Corporation, IRM Corporation and Electronic Data Systems. She has a Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor’s degree from Marycrest College in Davenport, Iowa.
