How to set up Seagate Central using an iPad or iPhone

Please follow this procedure to setup Seagate Central using an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch:

1. Download and install the free Discovery – Bonjour Browser app.
   
   
    
2. Launch the app.
   
   
    
3. Select AFP over TCP.
   
   
    
4. Select the hostname of the Seagate Central.
   The default hostname of your Seagate Central is Seagate-XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the last six digits of the Mac address on the Seagate Central label).
   
   
    
5. Note the IP address.
   
   
    
6. Open a Safari browser and type the IP address into the browser’s address bar to log in so as to begin the initial setup.
