The following provides you with the steps necessary for unlocking DrivePass using your Password.
Note: You must have the Maxtor Manager software loaded on your system in order to Unlock the drive.
- Connect your locked OneTouch 4 to your computer. After the drive spins up, the Unlock Drive window opens.
- In the field provided type your Password and click on the OK button.
Note: In the event that the AutoPlay window opens as the drive is unlocked, click on the Cancel button to continue.
A window opens informing you that the drive is unlocked. - Click on the OK button. Your OneTouch 4 Drive is unlocked and ready for use.
