Connect to your computer: Use the provided USB 3.0 cable to connect the hub to your computer. If your computer only has USB-C ports, you may need a compatible adapter.
Launch the setup application. Once connected, your computer will recognise the hub as a new drive. Open the drive and run the Start Here Win or Start Here Mac application to begin the setup process.
Register your device. Follow the on-screen prompts to register your One Touch Hub. Registration provides access to support and updates.
Install Seagate Toolkit. Download and install the Seagate Toolkit software when prompted. Toolkit enables you to set up backup plans, mirror folders, and activate password protection with 256-bit AES hardware encryption.
