Bob Yang
Senior Vice President, China
Bob Yang is Seagate’s senior vice president, China sales, responsible for driving the financial performance and success of the company by growing revenue and market share across all segments. In this role, he leads the company’s sales, marketing and technical support teams serving customers in China.
From this vantage point, Bob tracks critical developments — from Chinese market trends to advances in AI and other technologies propelling demand for data storage.
From 2017 to 2024, he served as vice president for Seagate’s Asia Pacific region. Under his leadership, his team built a robust channel network to bring Seagate products and services to customers across Asia.
Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.
