Setting up and playing media from your Fuel on your Roku

This article will show you how to connect your LaCie Fuel to your Roku using the Seagate Media App; so that you can play media from your LaCie Fuel via your Roku on your TV.


Note: Please follow the instructions that came with your Roku to set up your Roku on your network. Once you have the Roku setup and have your account established; you will want to go to the Roku Channel Store and download the Seagate Media App.

1. Open your Seagate Media App (Channel) on your Roku.

2. Turn on your LaCie Fuel and make sure you have it in concurrent mode.

3. You will need to have your LaCie Fuel’s IP Address on your network
(You may find this on your routers administrators page. If you don’t know how to get this please see your router’s manual or talk to your Internet Service Provider.)

4. Select “ENTER IP ADDRESS” and press OK on your Roku remote.

5. Use the Roku remote to add your IP address for your LaCie Fuel that you gathered from your router’s administration page.

6. Select Finish on the bottom of the screen and it will take you right to your media from your Fuel if you entered the right IP Address.

(If you enter the wrong IP Address you will get the following error message. You will need to correct and attempt again, once you have the right IP Address you will have access to your Fuel media.)

7. Scroll through your media and select what you would like to steam.
