All storage devices that are connected to the FreeAgent Theater should follow a safe removal procedure, just as if they were connected to a PC.
This includes any memory sticks, cameras, or external hard disks that are connected in the Theater’s docking bay or to the front USB port.
- Press the “Menu” button and wait for the Theater to display the main menu.
- After the main menu displays, press the “Power” button and wait for the amber light on the power button to stop flashing.
- Once the power light remains solid amber, it is safe to remove any devices that are connected to the FreeAgent Theater.
