Seagate Central - How to access files through the Seagate Media App

A brief overview of the Seagate Media app and how to access files.
The Seagate Media App will allow you to access files that are located in the Public folder of your Seagate Central. You can then enjoy your media from anywhere in world, as long as you have access to an internet connection.

First, you will need to download the Seagate Media app to your mobile device.  The app is free and should be downloadable from the app store application on your device.

You will also need to make sure Remote Access has been setup on your Seagate Central for this feature to work.

Once the Seagate Media app is installed, make sure you are still connected to the internet, and launch the app. With the app open, tap on the button on the top right corner, and then choose "Settings".  Then, tap on the "Remote Access" option.

Once connected, you will be able to select if you want to view files that are on your mobile device or on the Seagate Central.  To get that option, tap on the icon on the top left corner.  The media view will look at what's on the Public folder of your Central only.  You can view your information organized by folders for either your mobile device or your Seagate Central.
