Seagate Technology(®) (NYSE:STX) today announced plans to open a Customer Service Centre in Cairo as part of its ongoing strategy to enhance its presence and support for customers in Egypt. The Centre in Cairo will service Seagate's authorised distributors, resellers, partners as well as end-users under Seagate's warranty program.
The announcement was made to coincide with ICT Cairo and demonstrates Seagate's commitment to provide best-in-class support to customers across the MEA region and particularly in Egypt, owing to its position as a key regional market. The establishment of the Cairo Service Center highlights the enhanced investments and greater focus on sales, marketing and customer support initiatives to support Seagate's strategy for MEA as a major growth market.
The Service Center will process Return Material Authorization (RMA) disc drives at one central location, speeding up and simplifying the return and replacement procedures for Seagate disc drives.
