The multi-location SeaCare centres will offer better access and after-sales support to Seagate customers throughout. All Seagate hard drives purchased through Seagate's authorized distributors will be supported as per the warranty specification of the product line.
The SeaCare centres honor the following standard warranties for Seagate disc drives: three years for Barracuda ATA Plus drives, one year for the entry level Barracuda ATA drives and five years for the Cheetah family of SCSI drives. SeaCare centre services provide increased support to all Seagate distributors, OEMs, Seagate Import Partners, Seagate Storage Partners, resellers and end-users in the country.
Announcing the expansion of SeaCare centres to other cities, Sharad Srivastava, country manager of Seagate Technology India said, "Through this multi-location expansion, we hope to accomplish our aim of offering better access to our large customer base, further strengthening our after-sales support system and increasing our service level in India."
