Seagate Holds Security Seminar in Korea

SEOUL, Korea - Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX), the world's number one hard drive maker, together with its manufacturing representative, Ocean Technology, announced today that it will hold a Security Seminar to discuss the security surveillance market and its opportunity for growth. Additionally, Seagate is introducing its SV35 Series disc drive, which is industry's first hard drive specifically designed for optimal performance in the security surveillance market. The seminar will be held at COEX InterContinental Hotel in Seoul on April 20, 2006.

At the security seminar, Seagate will provide in-depth information on security market trends as well as detailed product information for the SV35 Series drive as a storage solution for the unique requirements of this application.

The Seagate SV35 Series hard drive is specifically designed for optimal performance in the commercial video security market, and offers 160GB, 250GB and 500GB of storage, which allows for up to 23 days* of high quality continuous video recording. The Seagate SV35 Series drives will begin shipping in April 2006.
