Seagate Celebrates its Top Resellers at SPP Rewards Night in Singapore

SINGAPORE - Seagate Technology, one of the world's leading disc drive and tape drive suppliers, is celebrating the achievements of its leading channel partners in Singapore at the annual Seagate Partner Program (SPP) Rewards Night, to be held at Chijimes Hall today. Over 100 of Seagate's leading channel partners will be invited to the event, which includes special recognition for Seagate's Outstanding Channel Partners and their contribution to growing the Company's business in Singapore. Seagate and its SPP members work together to expand and strengthen relationships within the reseller channel, and the SPP Rewards Night is another example of Seagate's commitment to the resellers who contribute to the Company's global success.

Seagate introduced the Seagate Partner Program for Disc and Tape products in the Asia Pacific region in May 2000. Designed exclusively for resellers of Seagate storage solutions, the Seagate Partner Program enables the Company to be responsive and proactive to the channel's need for information on its products and to assist resellers in selling those products. The backbone of the Seagate Partner Program is the Seagate reseller website at http://reseller.seagate.com which provides Seagate resellers with sales tools, online diagnostics, configuration tools, compatibility guides, etc. As a Seagate Partner, one will receive profile-based direct communications from Seagate that include new product launch information, events and special promotions.

In December 2000, Seagate launched the Seagate Rewards Program in Singapore and Malaysia, allowing its reseller partners to earn Seagate points from the sales they help generate, and redeem these points with rewards and incentives provided by Seagate.
