Seagate Establishes Customer Service Collection Point in Poland

Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX) has established a Collection Point in Poland to service its authorized distributors, resellers, partners as well as end-users under Seagate's warranty program, a move that continues the company's development of best-in-class customer support in this important market. The Warsaw collection point will process return material authorization (RMA) disc drives at one central location, speeding up and simplifying return and replacement procedures for Seagate disc drives.

"In establishing the Warsaw collection point, we are providing Seagate's customers with yet another advantage in the Polish market," said Wojciech Puchalski, Seagate sales representative for Eastern Europe. "Our authorized distributors, resellers, partners as well as end-users can now process returns much more quickly and cost-effectively, so both they and their customers benefit from the collection point. Combined with our five-year warranty on all internal disc drive products, the establishment of the Warsaw collection point further demonstrates that Seagate is constantly looking for ways to help its customers develop their businesses. It is always our objective to add value in ways that are important to our clients, partners and customers."

Previously, returns were shipped out of the country by distributors who were responsible for the shipping costs and customs and logistics issues. Now Seagate's clients save time, money and effort with the new process. The Collection Point is available for distributors, partners as well as for end-users.
