The day included tours of Seagate's automated assembly line-where hard drive prototypes are tested-and product integration labs, where Seagate works with customers such as Dell, HP, Microsoft and Sony, to ensure optimal performance of Seagate hard drives in products such as Tivo, the Xbox, personal video recorders and laptop computers.
Seagate is the 2004/05 title sponsor of the Student Leadership Boulder program, which was launched 14 years ago by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce. The program's mission is to build leadership skills in Boulder-area high-school students by educating them about their community and its leaders. During the seven-month program, students visit city and county government offices, health and human-service agencies, arts and media organizations and local industry.
