The Korea Cable TV Summit, organized by Hong Kong publishing and research company Media Partners Asia (MPA), in association with the Korean Cable TV Association (KCTA), will explore how the emerging cable TV industry can create value from enhanced subscription economics, stronger advertising utilization, two-way digital services and interactivity, compelling program tiers and content offerings, and dynamic software and technology.
Ban Seng will join other industry experts to discuss the development of local storage combined with broadband in the home, that could provide the cable industry with increased revenue streams, greater customer retention and lower infrastructure costs. The panel will explore the latest technology in this field, including the emergence of TV set-top-boxes equipped with hard disc drives, and the raft of CE devices incorporating data storage technology.
