Seagate Launches Customer Service Center To Support End Users In China

BEIJING - Seagate Technology, the world's leading hard disc drive supplier and a major player in the Chinese storage market, today launched a nationwide Customer Service Center to address the needs of its end user customers in China. Supporting Cantonese, Mandarin and English languages, the Seagate Customer Service Center will be accessible through toll free numbers: 8008109668 (for mainland China users) and (86) 10 62255336 (for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan users, as well as China mobile phone users) or via email at: seagate.support@teleservices.com.cn. The service will be available during business hours 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday through Friday, excluding Chinese public holidays.

The Seagate Customer Service Center will act as pre- and post-sales technical help desk for end users seeking solutions for their individual storage needs. Customers will be able to get instant guidance on matters pertaining to hard drives for a specific configuration, serial connectivity, features, etc. The post-sales technical support will double as a diagnostic services for trouble-shooting, data retrieval, software / hardware compatibility and other questions. The Customer Service Center will provide additional support to Seagate channel partners and distributors across the country in addressing end user customers in their pre- and post-sales stages.
