Kobayashi has more than 25 years of marketing and business management experience in the storage and semiconductor industries. He was with Harris Semiconductor for 13 years and he spent 2 years with Syquest Technology prior to joining Seagate in 1994. During his time at Seagate, the Company has been named Vendor of the Year by Sony Broadcasting and Professional Systems Company and received the Appreciation and Business Contribution award from Sony's Desktop Computer Division.
