"Seagate is committed to being an environmentally responsible company worldwide, and the sponsorship of these camps demonstrates this dedication," said Mr. Marshall. "To my knowledge, Seagate is the first private sector company in Malaysia to provide this level of support dedicated to environmental awareness for young people. The importance of preserving our environment cannot be underestimated and Seagate continues to emphasize the need to recycle, reduce, reuse and repurchase. Every one of us can make a difference and the little things we do as individuals can create a better environment globally."

Activities in the camp include talks on the preservation of nature and several fun, educational activities said Mr. Marshall. These activities that utilize sketches, crossword puzzles, and model building are aimed at enabling the participants to visualize an ideal environment. A jungle walk will also be conducted by a trained environmentalist to further contribute to the participant's understanding of the exciting and interesting environment around them.
