O'Malley joined Seagate in 1988 as senior financial analyst and during the last eleven years has held various management roles within the finance organization including manager of Consolidation and Cost Accounting; senior director, Finance, for Oklahoma City Operations; senior director, Finance, for Desktop Design; and vice president, Finance, for the Recording Media Operations. Prior to Seagate, O'Malley spent four years as a senior staff accountant for Arthur & Young in San Jose, California.
O'Malley holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Notre Dame.
