O'Malley joined Seagate Technology in 1988 as a senior financial analyst at the company's headquarters in Scotts Valley, California. Since then, he has held various positions including manager of Consolidations and Cost Accounting and director of Finance, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, in Scotts Valley; senior director of Finance, Oklahoma City Operations; and most recently, senior director of Finance, Desktop Design, in Longmont, Colorado. Prior to joining Seagate, O'Malley was with Arthur Young & Co. in San Jose, California.
O'Malley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana.
