Seagate Provides Disc Drive Technology for Zinwell's Digital Video Recorder

Seagate Technology, the world's leading disc drive supplier for the consumer market, announced today that its award-winning U Series disc has been chosen as the storage device in Zinwell's Digital Video Recorder (DVR). The endorsement reaffirms Seagate's leading position in the Personal Video Recorder (PVR) market, and continues to fuel its growth in Consumer Solutions.

Seagate offers a variety of testing, integration and mechanical analysis services to assist in qualifying drive-capable consumer electronics (CE) devices. These services, part of the Company's CETEC (Consumer Electronics Testing & Engineering Center) are available to key OEM customers such as Zinwell as part of Seagate's partnership qualification business model.
