"Springtown supports the production of more than 300,000 heads daily (or 100 million annually), nearly half of the company's industry-leading production volume of inductive and magnetoresistive recording heads," said Bonnie. "Under MichaelLs direction and leadership, the world class Springtown operation significantly outperformed our original business expectations. Additionally, Michael has played an integral role in the establishment of the Springtown Research and Development Center, which is emerging as a significant resource in the development of advanced tape and disc head technology. I strongly believe that Michael's talents will continue to contribute both to the success of the Springtown operations and Seagate Technology."
