Seagate Showcases Storage Technology For Digital Content Creation And Distribution At Broadcast India 2002

Seagate Technology, the world's leading hard disc drive supplier, announced today that it will be showcasing its disc drive products for digital content creation and distribution applications at the Broadcast India 2002 show in Mumbai from October 31 - November 2, 2002. At the show, Seagate will demonstrate storage technology used in non-linear editing, content management and distribution to the home.

With a strong focus on the convergence of electronics and the film industry, the annual Broadcast India event provides an appropriate venue for Seagate to highlight its award-winning U Series and Barracuda ATA family of disc drives for personal video recorders (PVRs), set-top boxes and game consoles, as well as Cheetah disc drive family for audio-visual storage and non-linear editing in the film industry. Additionally, Seagate will also present a paper on "New Opportunity for Broadcasters" at the conference.
