Seagate Showcases Technology for Digital Content Creation at Broadcast India 2001

Seagate Technology, the world's leading hard disc drive (HDD) supplier, announced today that it will be showcasing storage technology that is driving the creation of exciting new digital content at the Broadcast India 2001 show in Mumbai, November 1-3, 2001. The Company's product demonstrations will include disc drives for audio-video professional recording, video-on-demand, non-linear editing and content storage and distribution. Seagate disc drives are recognized worldwide as the drive-of-choice for experts in the entertainment and broadcast industries.

Using this event to highlight existing and future storage trends in the broadcast segment, Seagate's exhibit will display its award winning U-Series and Barracuda ATA drives for personal video recorders (PVRs), set-top boxes and game consoles. Additionally, Seagate was also invited to present a paper on "Storing and Managing Digital Content" at the conference.
