Seagate Strengthens Its Industry-Leading Customer Support With New Enhanced Versions Of SeaTools And DiscWizard Software

Seagate Technology today announced enhanced versions of its acclaimed SeaTools comprehensive diagnostic software and award-winning DiscWizard installation software at the Intel Developer's Forum in San Francisco. SeaTools Online is the industry's first browser-based troubleshooting software that allows easy system diagnostics and repair guidance. DiscWizard Starter Edition now makes hard disc drive installations even easier for customers via a bootable CD-ROM or floppy and new user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI). Both SeaTools Online and DiscWizard Starter Edition were developed with the Intel Ease-of-Use initiative in mind and serve to continue as best-in-class applications designed to make all aspects of disc drive troubleshooting and installation as easy as possible.

DiscWizard multi-language support is also now offered in German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. SeaTools Online adds to Seagate's SeaTools Suite 2002 family of diagnostic applications that provides a range of options for customers to use any tool, in any system, and in any situation. SeaTools Suite 2002 also helps customers save time and money by avoiding unnecessary disc drive returns.
