Susan Dinga Joins Seagate Human Resources Organization as Vice President, Global Staffing and Development

Strengthening its commitment to be a global Employer of Choice, Seagate Technology, Inc. (NYSE:SEG) today announced that Susan Dinga has joined the Company's Human Resources organization as vice president, Global Staffing and Development.

"In her new position, Susan will be focused initially on establishing a world class global staffing and development system to support our goal of becoming an Employer of Choice," said Jerry Maurer, senior vice president, Worldwide Human Resources. "Seagate currently employs over 110,000 people worldwide, and I believe Susan's insight into management and organizational issues will be critical to providing Seagate with a strategic and competitive global direction on recruiting and staffing systems, executive development and corporate diversity."

Prior to joining Seagate, Dinga worked for Quantum Corporation as director, Human Resources, for the Recording Heads/Technology & Engineering groups, designing and implementing HR initiatives. Dinga's career includes 14 years at Digital Equipment Corporation in HR management positions in several business units and divisions. Her work there included a five year assignment working internationally to develop the human resources and organization capabilities to grow the Digital Services business, particularly in the Asia Pacific region. Dinga began her career as an entrepreneur, co-founding a successful business on a small, Spanish speaking island in the Caribbean.

Dinga holds a Masters degree from Boston University and Bachelor of Arts degree from State University College of Oneonta, New York.
