Seagate Technology Opens Five Collection Points in Russia

MOSCOW - Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX), the world’s leading supplier of hard disc drives, has opened five collection points across Russia to enable its authorised distributors to better serve their customers. The collection points have been opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk and are now fully operational.

The collection points process return disc drives locally, speeding up and simplifying the return procedures for Seagate® drives. The collection points are operated on Seagate’s behalf by UPS.

“The opening of these five collection points is further evidence of Seagate’s commitment to the Russian market,” said Maxim Frolov, Seagate channel sales representative in Russia. “It strengthens our relationship with our direct customers enabling them to better service their own customers. Combined with the quality and breadth of our product offering, our dedicated marketing programmes and our industry leading five year warranty, we believe that this move will further strengthen the Seagate brand in the fast-growing Russian market.”
