DOWNLOAD
Step 1
Download the .zip file and extract it to your system. Note the location where it was saved.

Step 2
Open your browser and launch the Seagate Business NAS Manager page.
Provide admin username / password authentication when prompted. The Seagate Business NAS Manager page opens.

Click on System > Firmware Update in the left column of the NAS Manager page.
NOTE: The automatic firmware update options can be set from this page. Please see Document ID: 005315 for more information on configuring Seagate Business NAS automatic firmware updates.

Step 4
The Manual Update section is located in the bottom section of the page.
In the IMG: field, click Choose File and browse to the .img file that was previously extracted from the .zip file you downloaded.
In the MD5: field, click Choose File and browse to the .md5 file that was previously extracted from the .zip file you downloaded.

Step 5
Once both files have been selected, click the Update Now button.
This may take a few minutes to complete. During the update process, do not refresh or shut down your browser.

Step 6
When the firmware update is complete, the Seagate Business NAS will automatically reboot. After the device’s reboot is finished, the firmware update process is complete.
