Samsung Format Utility: Quick formatting produces an error

Trying to quick format the Samsung external drive using the Samsung Format Utility may result in an error.

The Samsung Format Utility can be downloaded from the Seagate Download website.

Here is the proper procedure:

1. Launch the format utility.
2. Select the Samsung external drive as Device and the desired drive for Drive To format and either FAT32 or NTFS for the File System.
3. Input the Volume Label and click the Start button.
   
   
   
   To format the STORY Station Plus as FAT32, connect the STORY Station Plus through the USB interface.

To format the drive after the partition was deleted, use Windows Disk Management.
