Seagate Refund Policy
Information on Seagate's refund policy for products purchased through seagate.com or lacie.com.
1) SEAGATE REFUND POLICY
This refund policy applies to Seagate, Maxtor and LaCie branded product covered by a valid warranty at the time you request a refund in accordance with this policy (“Product”), subject to the following terms. This refund policy guarantees your satisfaction within 30 days from the shipment date only on Product that you have purchased directly from Seagate.com or LaCie.com, and only where purchased and shipped in the United States. To obtain a refund, you must follow the terms of this refund policy. Seagate may periodically revise this refund policy.
Obtaining a Return Order Number
To return your Product for a refund, you must contact Seagate customer support (see www.seagate.com/contacts for Seagate and Maxtor product and www.lacie.com/contact/ for LaCie product) to obtain a return order number.
Shipping the Product to Seagate
Products must be returned in the original packaging (or packaging that provides the Product with equivalent protection) and the return order number must be clearly noted on the outside of the returned Product’s box. Return order numbers are valid for 30 days from issuance—you are responsible for and must prepay all shipping charges, and you are responsible for risk of loss and damage to the Product while in transit to Seagate. You should retain a copy of your shipping tracking number for your records. Seagate may refuse delivery of your product if you do not comply with the terms of this refund policy, including but not limited to, shipping a product (1) without a return order number, (2) beyond the 30 day issuance period, or (3) without proper packaging. Please allow six to eight weeks for Seagate to credit your account after Seagate receives your product. Shipping and handling, advanced replacement and premium delivery fees and charges are not refundable.
2) ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders for in-stock items cannot be cancelled once an order has been submitted, unless otherwise expressly stated in your Seagate (or Seagate affiliate) order acknowledgement. Seagate is committed to processing your order quickly and therefore once an order has been submitted it is immediately sent to our warehouse for processing. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause for you. Once you receive your order, please follow Seagate's return process to receive a credit for your order.
Back-ordered items can be cancelled. Please contact Seagate customer support (see www.seagate.com/contacts for Seagate product and www.lacie.com/contact/ for LaCie product) to cancel your order. Please have your order number ready.
This refund policy does not affect any additional rights you have under laws in your jurisdiction governing the sale of consumer goods or other offerings.
