Audio Settings:

To adjust the audio setting, click ‘Menu’ -> ‘Settings’ -> scroll over to ‘Audio’.

If you are using an HDMI cable for Audio, there are 3 audio digital output settings available:

  1. HDMI LPCM 2 CH
  2. HDMI LPCM Multi CH
  3. HDMI RAW

If you are using an optical cable or composite cable for Audio, there are 2 audio digital output settings available:

  1. S/PDIF LPCM
  2. S/PDIF RAW

HDMI LPCM 2 CH is best used when GoFlex TV is connected directly to a television that only has stero (2 speaker) sound.

HDMI LPCM Multi CH is best used when GoFlex TV is connected to a television or an A/V receiver that has 5.1 surround-sound available.

HDMI RAW is best used when the GoFlex TV is connected to a high-end A/V receiver that is capable of decoding the audio feed.

S/PDIF LPCM ensures the GoFLex TV decodes the audio feed and is best used when connected directly to a television or standard A/V receiver.

S/PDIF RAW allows a receiver to decode the audio feed and is only recommended when connected to a high-end A/V receiver.

Note: If you are using a A/C receiver and the sound is buzzing or crackling, try selecting a RAW Audio setting (HDMI RAW or S/PDIF RAW) that allows the receiver to decode the audio feed instead of the GoFlex TV.
