Stephen J. Luczo serves as the Chairman of the Board, CEO and President. Mr. Luczo joined us in October 1993 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. In September 1997, Mr. Luczo was promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of our predecessor, Seagate Technology, Inc. and, in July 1998, he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Luczo resigned as our Chief Executive Officer effective as of July 3, 2004, but retained his position as Chairman of the Board. In January 2009, Mr Luczo was appointed President and CEO. Prior to joining us, Mr. Luczo was Senior Managing Director of the Global Technology Group of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., an investment banking firm, from February 1992 to October 1993.

Bob Whitmore serves as Executive Vice President and CTO for Seagate. He is responsible for product design and development; head and media component design and manufacturing operations; global hard disk drive manufacturing operations; global materials; and corporate quality. In addition, Whitmore is responsible for Seagate's solid state drive (SSD) development.

Patrick O'Malley assumed the role of EVP & CFO effective August 25, 2008. In his previous role of SVP Finance & Treasurer, he was responsible for Corp. Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, Credit & Collections and Risk Management along with Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and support for our Business Unit GMs, Sales & other functions. In October 2005, he returned to Finance from the Sales Organization where he coordinated the Company's activities surrounding the Consumer Electronics market as the SVP, Consumer Electronics Business Development from January 2004. O'Malley joined Seagate in 1988 & has held various management roles within the Finance organization including Manager of Consolidation & Cost Accounting, Director of Finance - Corporate FP&A, Sr. Director of Finance for Oklahoma City Operations, Sr. Director of Finance for Desktop Design, VP of Finance for Recording Media Operations & SVP of Finance for Manufacturing Operations. Prior to joining Seagate, he spent four years as a Sr. Staff Accountant for Arthur Young & Co. O'Malley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame (Class of 1984).

Dave Mosley is responsible for Seagate's global drive, heads and media manufacturing operations. Since joining Seagate in 1996, Mosley has held a variety of posts, including: executive vice president of sales and marketing; senior director for R&D engineering; vice president and site management team leader for the company’s Longmont, Colorado, operation; and he’s led the company's emerging products development team. Prior to joining Seagate, Mosley was a research physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and a senior engineer at Micropolis and Conner Peripherals.

Albert “Rocky” Pimentel is responsible for Seagate’s global sales, sales operations, product line management, marketing and retail activities. Prior to joining Seagate in 2011, Pimentel served on the company’s Board of Directors. Pimentel also was a member of the early Seagate management team, working with founders Al Shugart and Finis Conner. He also was part of the founding management team at Conner Peripherals. Since that time, his diverse career experience has included chief operating officer and chief financial officer at McAfee, and senior vice president and CFO at LSI Logic. He also has served as a member of the Board of Directors at Xilinx, and has held senior leadership positions at Glu Mobile, Zone Labs, WebTV Networks and Redpoint Ventures.

Terry Cunningham is President and General Manager of EVault, the company's services organization. EVault, A Seagate Company, provides business solutions for the protection, retention and discovery of electronic information. Terry previously served as President and COO of Veritas Software, founded two other successful storage management software companies, and founded and led Seagate Software.

Ken Massaroni is responsible for all of Seagate’s corporate legal activities, including intellectual property, patents, trademarks and copyrights, litigation, risk management, contracts, employment law, corporate governance and ethics. In addition, he oversees Seagate’s facilities and security departments. Prior to joining Seagate in 2006, Massaroni was vice president of law, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary at Scientific-Atlanta from 1997 to 2006. In addition, Massaroni has also held senior patent counsel positions at Motorola from 1993 to 1997, served as general counsel and secretary at Optical Imaging Systems from 1990 to 1992 and as a patent attorney at Energy Conversion Devices from 1987 to 1990. In addition, he served as an associate at the law firm of Collier, Shannon, Rill and Scott. Massaroni received a bachelor’s degree from Butler University in Indiana and a doctor of jurisprudence from Indiana University.

Joy Nyberg is responsible for leading Seagate's global human resources efforts, including: compensation and benefits, leadership and learning, staffing and on-boarding, HR central transaction centers, HR compliance, internal communications and community engagement. Prior to joining Seagate in 2007, Nyberg was vice president of Compensation and Benefits at Maxtor Corporation. She has also held senior HR positions at KLA-Tencor and ESL/TRW. Nyberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University.

Grieci leads Seagate's Customer Advocacy team, driving measurable results through sustainable process improvements from design to sourcing, qualification, production and delivery. Previously to joining Seagate, he spent two decades at EMC, most recently leading EMC's supply chain management organization. He is an industry veteran with experience spanning rotating magnetic and solid state storage, at both the component and system levels, as well as end-user field applications as they relate to product performance, qualifications, factory quality management, field reliability, product planning and customer escalation processes.

Mark Brewer leads the Information Technology (IT) organization at Seagate, where he’s been the Chief Information Officer since 1998. Brewer is responsible for all aspects of IT strategy and operations for the company, including business systems, manufacturing- execution systems and the corporate IT infrastructure. Prior to joining Seagate in 1992, Brewer was with AT&T Network Systems. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University, where he also completed a master’s and bachelor’s degree in the same field.

Frank J. Biondi, Jr. has been a Director of Seagate since 2005, and is Senior Managing Director of WaterView Advisors LLC, a private equity fund specializing in media, a position he has held since June 1999. He was Chairman and CEO of Universal Studios from April 1996 through November 1998. Mr. Biondi previously served as President and CEO of Viacom, Inc. from July 1987 through January 1996, and was a member of the Viacom Board of Directors. Mr. Biondi currently serves on the boards of directors of Amgen, Inc., Hasbro, Inc., Cablevision Systems and RealD, Inc. Within the past five years, Mr. Biondi has served as a member of the boards of directors of Bank of New York Mellon, Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., and Yahoo!, Inc.

Michael R. Cannon is retired after a 35 year career in high technology companies. Mr. Cannon served as President, Global Operations of Dell Inc. from February 2007 until his retirement in January 2009, and as a consultant to Dell Inc. from January 2009 until January 31, 2011. Prior to joining Dell, Mr. Cannon was the President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Solectron Corp, an electronic manufacturing services company from January 2003 until February 2007. From July 1996 until January 2003, Mr. Cannon served as the Chief Executive Officer of Maxtor Corporation, a disk drive and storage systems manufacturer. He served on Maxtor’s Board of Directors from July 1996 until Seagate acquired Maxtor in May 2006. Prior to joining Maxtor, Mr. Cannon held senior management positions at IBM. Mr. Cannon served on the Board of Directors of Seagate Technology from October 2006 until February 2007, and has served on the Board of Directors of Adobe Systems, a software company, since 2003, and on the Board of Directors of Elster Group SE, a metering technology company, since September 2010.

Mei-Wei Cheng joined Seagate’s board of directors in July, 2012. He serves on the board’s Finance Committee. Mr. Cheng is CEO of Siemens North East Asia and president and CEO of Siemens Ltd., China. He has full responsibility for all of Siemens activities in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mongolia. Prior to joining Siemens in 2009, he was chairman and CEO of Ford Motor Company China Ltd., as well as a corporate group vice president of Ford Motor Company, from 1998 to 2009. Mr. Cheng also held executive positions at GE, including corporate vice president, regional executive and president of GE Appliance—Asia, and chairman and CEO of GE China Ltd. He began his career at AT&T, where he last served as president of AT&T China. Mr. Cheng is currently a member of the board of directors of Diebold, Inc. He holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering/operations research from Cornell University and an MBA from Rutgers University.

William Coleman joined Seagate’s board of directors in April, 2012. Mr. Coleman, founder of BEA Systems and Cassatt Corporation, also serves on the Seagate board’s audit committee. Mr. Coleman has been a partner with Alsop Louie Partners, a technology venture-capital firm, since 2010. Mr. Coleman served as chairman and CEO of Cassatt Corporation from 2003 to 2009. He was previously chairman of the board at BEA Systems from 1995 until 2002 and CEO from 1995 to 2001. Prior to BEA, Mr. Coleman held various executive-management positions at Sun Microsystems. He currently sits on the board of directors of iControl, Framehawk and Resilient Network Systems. Mr. Coleman holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a master’s degree in computer science and computer engineering from Stanford University. He also holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Colorado.

Jay L. Geldmacher joined Seagate’s board of directors in April, 2012. Mr. Geldmacher, who serves on the Seagate board’s Compensation Committee, is an executive vice president at Emerson Electric Company and president of Emerson Network Power’s Embedded Computing and Power Group. Prior to joining Emerson Electric in 1996, Mr. Geldmacher served in various management capacities at Knowles Electronics. He currently serves as a director and audit committee member of Owens-Illinois and serves on the board of the University of Arizona Business School. Mr. Geldmacher holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Arizona and an executive MBA from the University of Chicago.

Seh-Woong Jeong joined Seagate’s board of directors in April, 2012. Dr. Jeong is currently executive vice president of the Sales and Marketing team at the Systems LSI division of Samsung. From 1993 to 2010, he held various positions at Samsung designing digital-signal processor cores, microcontroller cores and mobile-application processors. Dr. Jeong holds a bachelor of science degree in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, a master of science degree in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Colorado.

Lydia M. Marshall has been a Director of Seagate since 2004. Ms. Marshall is retired from Versura, Inc., an education loan exchange company that she founded. She served as Chair and CEO of Versura, Inc. from 1999 until 2004. Previously, she was Managing Director of Rockport Capital Incorporated from 1997 to 1999, Executive Vice President–Marketing of Sallie Mae from 1993 to 1997, and Senior Vice President heading Sallie Mae's Institutional and Public Finance and Strategic Planning Divisions from 1985 to 1993. Ms. Marshall is a member of the board of directors of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. Within the past five years, Ms. Marshall has served as a member of the board of directors of Nationwide Financial Services.

Dr. C.S. Park has been a director of Seagate since 2006. Prior to joining Seagate's Board, Dr. Park served as Chairman and CEO of Maxtor from November 2004 until May 19, 2006, as Chairman of Maxtor's board of directors from May 1998 until May 2006, and served as a member of its board from February 1994 to May 2006. Maxtor was acquired by Seagate in May 2006. Dr. Park served as Investment Partner and Senior Advisor at H&Q Asia Pacific, a private equity firm, from April 2004 until September 2004, and as a Managing Director for the firm from November 2002 to March 2004. Prior to joining H&Q Asia Pacific, Dr. Park served as President and CEO of Hynix Semiconductor Inc. from March 2000 to May 2002, and from June 2000 to May 2002 he also served as its Chairman. Dr. Park is a member of the boards of directors of Ballard Power Systems, Inc., and Computer Sciences Corporation. Gregorio Reyes has been a Seagate Director since 2004. Mr. Reyes has been a private investor and management consultant since 1994. Mr. Reyes began his career in the semiconductor industry with National Semiconductor Corporation in 1962, followed by executive positions with Motorola, Inc., Fairchild Semiconductor and Eaton Corporation. From 1981 to 1984, he was President and CEO of National Micronetics, Inc., a provider of hard disc magnetic recording head products for the data storage industry. Between 1986 and 1990, he was Chairman and CEO of American Semiconductor Equipment Technologies. Mr. Reyes co–founded Sunward Technologies in 1985 and served as its non–executive Chairman from 1985 to 1990, and its Chairman and CEO from 1990 until 1994. Mr. Reyes currently serves as non–executive Chairman of LSI Corporation, and non–executive Chairman of Dialog Semiconductor plc.

Edward J. Zander has been a Seagate Director since 2009. Mr. Zander served as Chairman and CEO of Motorola, Inc. from January 2004 until January 2008, when he resigned as CEO and continued as Chairman. He resigned as Chairman in May 2008. Prior to joining Motorola, Mr. Zander was a managing director of Silver Lake Partners, a leading private equity fund focused on investments in technology industries from July 2003 to December 2003. Mr. Zander was President and COO of Sun Microsystems Inc., a leading provider of hardware, software and services for networks, from January 1998 until June 2002.
