Futoshi Niizuma
Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan Sales
As vice president for Asia Pacific and Japan sales at Seagate, Futoshi Niizuma oversees the company’s sales and technical support activities across the region.
After joining Seagate in 2009, Futoshi held several senior roles in Japan. In 2025, his responsibilities expanded to include Taiwan, Korea, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand. In his most recent position, he successfully led Seagate’s APAC and Japan sales team in growing market presence, building robust ecosystem partnerships and delivering tremendous value to customers.
Futoshi has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to joining Seagate, he held senior positions in sales, marketing and management at Kenwood Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Dokkyo University.
