You can connect your LaCie device to a computer that meets the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows 7 or higher
  • macOS 10.9 or higher
  Note: For optimal performance up to 5Gb/s, connect the product to a USB 3.1 Gen 1 or USB 3.0 host port on your computer. Connecting LaCie Portable Drive to a USB 2.0 port reduces performance to USB 2.0 transfer rates, up to 480Mb/s.
