Our drives are purpose-built, meaning each of our internal drives are built specifically for their intended use. Each drive has been optimised, tested, and approved by various technology partners to meet and exceed the requirements for its application in terms of reliability, performance and quality. Seagate drives utilise conventional magnetic recording and shingled magnetic recording technologies based on intended use.
