Some 2Big Network devices on version 2.06 of the firmware have difficulty setting a static IP address. In the web administration, on the "Network" page, an option to assign a static IP address is available. If the address is changed through this screen, ALL FIELDS must contain data. If the drive is on a corporate network, ask a network administrator what data should be in each field. If the drive is in a small home network, put the router's IP address in the non-applicable fields.
