You may reformat it in MacOS to HFS+ format by following the instructions at Can I reformat LaCie Fuel to a MacOS Extended (HFS+) file system?
LaCie does not recommend formatting the LaCie Fuel in FAT32. If you prefer to use a PC compatible file system LaCie recommends exFAT. Instructions on formatting the drive in exFAT can be found at Format the LaCie Fuel exFAT on Windows 8.
