Notifications

Use the Notifications window to review recent events for the connected device (for example, maintenance activity or software update messages) and to download log files for troubleshooting.

  1. From the Home screen, select NOTIFICATIONS on the device card.
  2. Review the notifications listed in the window.
Notification entries Each entry includes a description and a timestamp. Entry types include:

notification-icon-red-01.png Alert
notification-icon-amber-01.png Warning
notification-icon-grey-01.png Notification
notification-icon-info-01.png Information
notification-icon-setting-01.png System status or activity
DOWNLOAD Downloads all notifications as a CSV file, which can be shared with a Seagate customer support representative.
CLOSE or X Closes the Notifications window.
