SkyHawk AI Wins Security Today’s 2020 Govies Award

Security Today named Seagate Technology’s SkyHawk^™ AI 16TB hard drive the winner of the 2020 Govies Government Security Awards in the Video Surveillance Data Storage category for the second year in a row. SkyHawk AI was designated as a platinum winner, which is the highest level of recognition a product can receive. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges organized by Security Today and 1105 Media’s Infrastructure Solutions Group. Products were evaluated based on design, interoperability, innovation, technical advances, impact on the security industry, and other criteria.

1105 Media’s Infrastructure Solutions Group first launched its government security awards program in 2009. In 2011, the program became known as The Govies. As government security concerns have grown, participation in the program has also increased.
