When you join Seagate, you become a vital part of our mission to help safeguard humanity’s prized data. You will learn and help us develop new technologies as part of this quest.
Whether you want to advance to a role with more responsibility or learn how to do your job more efficiently and creatively, we will be listening. Your professional growth is our priority.
At Seagate, we care about our neighbors. And by neighbors, we mean the world. Our ethic of global citizenship runs deep. We care about people everywhere and we work to make the world a welcoming space for them—and for their data.
What does this look like? Here are some examples:
Seagate's community engagement strategy addresses the varied interests of employees and the growing needs of our local communities. Known as Capacity to Care, our program aligns Seagate's giving with employees' localized interests and leverages the impact of our combined financial, product, and volunteer contributions.
For instance, our team in Singapore taught kids the basics of coding and Thailand employees brought an interactive Science Caravan to thousands of youngsters and their families.

Seagate’s sustainability efforts have reduced greenhouse gas emissions and costs. In Fiscal year 2020, for example, Seagate’s focus on energy conservation resulted in a savings of 17,600 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity through energy conservation and efficiency initiatives, exceeding our conservation goal of 14,000 MWh for the year. Since initiating our energy conservation program in FY2014, Seagate has saved a cumulative 187,000 MWh from projects focused mainly on electricity conservation.
