For U.S. export control considerations, Seagate has secured a single commodity classification ruling from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), for all Seagate drives that contain encryption, whether hardware-based or software-based. (CCATS) G169173 dated 05/15/2017:
Enter the Seagate Part Number, ST or Product Model Number, or use “*” for a wildcard search (e.g. 1VE100*, ST1000*). Please note, utilizing the wildcard search will result in longer load time. For multiple part searches, enter “,” after each Seagate Part Number, ST or Product Model Number. Searches with larger than 50 results are to be exported as a CSV file.
