The Toolkit optimize feature will reformat your drive to either NTFS or HFS+ depending on the operating system. Occasionally the feature can run into issues while attempting to reformat the drive.
What to do if optimize reports errors?
- Try the optimize process again - sometimes the issue is temporary and attempting to optimize again will allow it to complete.
- Reboot the computer and try again
- Reformat the drive manually - sometimes it is necessary to format it manually outside of the Toolkit software.
