In order for anyone to access the LaCie Network Space using FTP, three conditions must be met:
1. the administrator must provide the correct user login (username: ftp and password: ftp by default or the modified login) and the IP address of the LaCie Network Space.
2. the LaCie Network Space must be turned on and connected to the network
3. FTP service must be enabled.
