Effective April 8, 2018, the remote access feature TappIn on Seagate Business Storage 1, 2, and 4-bay NAS devices will no longer be supported. This feature allows users to remotely access files while not on the same network as their NAS device. All other features will continue to work as expected.
Your data on the device will not be deleted or altered in any way. Only this remote access feature will be discontinued.
Other remote access features will remain available: FTP and Dynamic DNS.
