How To Ship Your Seagate Product

Need to return an item? No problem! It’s easy.
Just follow the simple steps below.

Before You Return

  • Note: If you’ve already contacted Lyve support and received a Return Material Authorization (RMA) for the return of your Lyve hardware, please proceed to How to Pack Your Product(s).

For Ended Project Returns:

  1. Click on the following link: https://www.seagate.com/promos/lyve-support/
  2. Please fill out the form and submit it.
  3. A Lyve team member will review your request. Once reviewed, they will send you a Return Material Authorization (RMA)/Order Confirmation number and prepaid shipping label via email (from do.not.reply@seagate.com). Please anticipate a response within 1 business day.
  4. Please proceed to How to Pack Your Product(s).

For Lyve Hardware Maintenance or Replacement Requests:

  1. Access your account on Lyve Management Portal.
  2. Select Go to Home Page, click on Projects, select the related project, click on Manage Project (upper-right), and then select Return Devices.
  3. You must submit a request to Lyve support through the Lyve Virtual Assistant “. Choose Menu > Technical support > Problem with my hardware. This will enable a Lyve team member to provide support and/or maintenance or a replacement for your Lyve device. Please have your project name, and applicable serial number(s) available.
  4. A Lyve team member will provide you with a Return Material Authorization (RMA)/Order Confirmation number via email if it is determined that your Lyve device requires a replacement.
  5. A product replacement will be shipped to you via UPS 2nd Day Air.
  6. A prepaid shipping label will be included with the shipment of your replacement to return your Lyve device(s).
  7. Please proceed to How to Pack Your Product(s) once you receive your replacement product.

How to Pack Your Product(s)

Lyve™ Mobile Array

  1. Put the Lyve™ Mobile Array in the Lyve Mobile Array Shipper (Shipping Case).
  2. Please include the Lyve™ Mobile Array accessories with your return. Refer to the table below for a list of accessories that are required to be returned.
  3. Close the Lyve Mobile Array Shipper and secure it with the two security seals provided.
  4. Optional: Place the product inside the original packing box or the packing box that the replacement product was shipped in. Note: If you do not have the original packing materials or replacement packing materials, you can ship the Lyve™ Mobile Array inside the Lyve Mobile Array Shipper only.
  5. Seal the packing box with packing tape (if using a packing box).
  6. Securely adhere the provided shipping label to the outside of the box or Shipping Case.
  7. Drop-off at the nearest UPS location.

Lyve Drive™ Shuttle

  1. Put the Lyve Drive™ Shuttle in the Shipping Case.
  2. Please include the Lyve Drive™ Shuttle accessories with your return. Refer to the table below for a list of accessories that are required to be returned.
  3. Close the Shipping Case and secure it with the two security seals provided.
  4. Optional: Place the product inside the original packing box or the packing box that the replacement product was shipped in. Note: If you do not have the original packing materials or replacement packing materials you can ship the Lyve Drive™ Shuttle inside the Shipping Case only.
  5. Seal the packing box with packing tape (if using a packing box).
  6. Securely adhere the provided shipping label to the outside of the box or Shipping Case.
  7. Drop-off at the nearest UPS location.

Lyve™ Mobile Rackmount Receiver or Lyve™ Mobile Mount

  1. Please include the required accessories with your product return. Refer to the table below for a list of accessories that are required to be returned.
  2. Place the product inside the original packing box or the packing box that the replacement product was shipped in1.
  3. Seal the packing box with packing tape.
  4. Securely adhere the provided shipping label to the outside of the box.
  5. Drop-off at the nearest UPS location.

Lyve™ Mobile PCIe Adapter

  1. Please include the required accessories with your product return. Refer to the table below for a list of accessories that are required to be returned.
  2. Put the Lyve™ Mobile PCIe Adapter in an antistatic bag or similar material to prevent ESD (Electrostatic discharge).
  3. Place the product inside the original packing box or the packing box that the replacement product was shipped in1.
  4. Seal the packing box with packing tape.
  5. Securely adhere the provided shipping label to the outside of the box.
  6. Drop-off at the nearest UPS location.
